Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in Hungary: “Responsible Employer – Gold Level” certification confirms strong commitment to people-centric and sustainable HR practices
A gold-colored seal, presented on site and now displayed on the wall: the Freudenberg Sealing Technologies location in Kecskemét, Hungary, has been certified “Responsible Employer – Gold Level” by the Hungarian organization OFA Nonprofit Ltd. The award recognizes companies that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to their employees and is considered a credible benchmark for modern employer standards.
The label is based on an extensive set of criteria. It evaluates everything from working conditions, health and safety standards, and development opportunities to responsible corporate governance. The Gold certification represents the program’s highest tier and underscores the site’s ambition to address these areas in a systematic and consistent way.
The certification is therefore not a one-time snapshot, but a reflection of ongoing efforts to build a modern and dependable workplace culture. “Our daily HR work is grounded in responsible employment practices, a safe and supportive working environment, and ethically sound, sustainable processes. At the same time, we strive to continuously strengthen employee satisfaction and engagement,” says Júlia Dubniczky-Szabó, Human Resources Manager at the site.
Site Manager Zoltan Augusztiny adds: “The principles confirmed by the certification are closely aligned with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles. Values such as integrity and accountability, respect and fairness, as well as long-term, sustainable thinking shape our corporate culture.”
The award shows that many of the measures implemented at the site in recent years are moving in the right direction. At the same time, the team sees it as an incentive to keep improving working conditions and to remain firmly focused on employees’ needs.
