The seal of quality for excellent training is valid until 2028 and underlines the importance of promoting young talent at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in Kufstein
For over a decade, FST has been one of the top training companies in Tyrol, Germany. The renewed award confirms the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and promoting young talent.
At the award ceremony in Innsbruck’s Landhaus, 85 Tyrolean companies received the coveted seal – 20 for the first time and 65 for another three years. Currently, a total of 245 companies in Tyrol hold the title. FST is one of the companies that has held the award continuously since 2014.
What is behind the title?
The province of Tyrol awards the seal of quality in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Labor. Companies must demonstrate successful apprentice training over several years, modern equipment, clear organization, and additional offerings, such as additional qualifications or participation in competitions, to receive the seal.
“The ‘Excellent Tyrolean Training Company’ award is a strong signal of the quality of our training,” explains Tanja Hofer, a certified apprentice trainer at FST in Kufstein. “The seal recognizes our joint efforts and promises to the young people starting their professional future with us.”
Training as an Investment in the Future
Representatives of the state government and chambers emphasized the importance of qualified apprenticeship training at the award ceremony. State Minister of Labor Astrid Mair emphasized: “In times of skilled labor shortages, training young people is more important than ever. Training companies that invest in quality, support, and modern training open up prospects for young people and establish apprenticeships as a viable educational path for the future.”
The award is also a strategic factor for FST. Site manager and Lead Center Integrated Molded Components Vice President Wolfgang Schachermayr emphasizes: “Well-trained skilled workers are the basis for our success. Continuous investment in training secures not only the future of our apprentices but also the company’s competitiveness.”
