Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) is committed to participation and collective engagement. Employees are laying the visual foundation for the new mission statement.
FST is in the midst of a long-term transformation. The goal is to prepare the company for the future, which is becoming increasingly defined by evolving market and customer demands. In this context, the Board of Management is working with some employees on a new mission statement to sharpen the common focus.
A mission statement is especially important during times of change. It unites all departments and teams around common goals, strengthening the corporate culture.
A visible sign of active cooperation
Even before the new mission statement is officially presented in the first quarter of 2026, FST is sending a strong signal of cooperation with a participatory campaign focusing on its employees’ handwriting. All employees are invited to submit samples of their handwriting by the end of the year. A design team will use these as a basis for developing a common font that will serve as the key visual for the new mission statement. This campaign is a visible symbol of everyone taking responsibility and bringing the mission statement to life.
Here’s how the campaign works:
Participation is straightforward. Employees receive a template on which they can leave a writing sample. Local HR managers will coordinate the campaign on site, collect the completed templates, and serve as contact persons. The campaign runs until the end of December.
