The Freudenberg Group has concluded negotiations on a 10-year contract to buy green electricity from renewable sources starting in 2025. North Sea wind farms already rely on seals from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST), and now the Group has arranged to source electricity from the Nordsee-Ost and the Amrumbank West off shore wind farms at the start of the contract. Nordsee-Ost has 48 wind turbines in operation, and Amrumbank West has 80.
