The successful partnership between Corteco – the aftermarket division of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) – and workshop influencers Schrauberblog (SBRBLG) is boosting the brand’s visibility among professional mechanics, hobbyists, and automotive enthusiasts.
Since early 2024, Corteco has been collaborating with Schrauberblog to strengthen the brand’s presence specifically in workshops across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The goal is to communicate the quality and innovative strength of Freudenberg products distributed by Corteco directly to the core target audience and to build long-term brand loyalty.
Authentic, High‑Reach Content
As part of this collaboration, Schrauberblog not only creates product videos but also documents the restoration and conversion of an old VW T3 bus. The VW T3 – Volkswagen’s third generation of the VW Transporter – was introduced in May 1979.
Working with SBRBLG allows Corteco to get closer to the market. The videos offer real added value for Corteco’s end customers, mechanics that is. They highlight practical topics such as common installation errors or skipped steps that can lead to product failure. Schrauberblog provides clear solutions through their videos, for example when installing a Simmerring® (see: https://youtu.be/4g4lZLwYbYM?si=XuhfXmIR9Nq1Wy4g).
The product videos have strong impact and are receiving positive feedback even beyond the DACH region. Demand for multilingual versions continues to grow, and thanks to artificial intelligence, the possibilities are nearly limitless.
Benefits of the Collaboration
The partnership with Schrauberblog gives Corteco direct access to a highly relevant community across key social media platforms. What stands out most is the strong alignment with the target group: Corteco is able to reach workshop professionals, hobby mechanics, and automotive enthusiasts who actively exchange knowledge and ideas online.

“Another success factor is the authenticity and trust that influencers like Schrauberblog enjoy. Their hands‑on content conveys our brand message more credibly than traditional advertising,” says Alanna Selzer, Head of Brand & Communication Management at Corteco. Creative storytelling and high‑quality videos secure lasting brand presence and reinforce Corteco’s position within the workshop community.
“The partnership has initially been planned for three years. In 2026, we’ll discuss the potential for continued collaboration,” Selzer adds. “This ensures that Corteco remains an integral part of Schrauberblog’s highly successful communication and continues to strengthen brand loyalty.”
