Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) was recognized for its delivery performance at the GE Aerospace Supplier Symposium, reflecting ongoing coordination between the company and GE, as well as the work of teams in Santa Ana, California, and Tillsonburg, Ontario.
The recognition relates to FST’s support of GE’s long‑running turboshaft engine program used in helicopter applications. Tillsonburg developed new silicone‑based oil drain tubes with reinforcement layers designed to meet the program’s stiffness and oil‑handling requirements after the previous supplier discontinued the product. The team designed, built and tested the components and established packaging and inspection processes to meet GE’s required timeline.
Santa Ana maintained delivery performance across ongoing programs, while Tillsonburg completed its qualification as a new supply site in 2025. Teams from Tillsonburg met weekly with GE throughout the year to coordinate development activities, approvals and urgent product needs. Business between the companies has increased, driven by long‑term agreements and an expanded product scope beyond O‑rings.

“Our work supporting the GE turboshaft engine program and other customer requirements reflects consistent project coordination and a structured approach at the Tillsonburg and Santa Ana sites,” said Eugen Amann, Application Center Manager in Santa Ana. “This progress has developed steadily over several years.”
GE reported $45 billion in revenue for 2025 and used the symposium to outline a shift toward closer alignment with customer requirements following recent growth. The company noted that its suppliers increased deliveries by 40 percent compared to 2024 and emphasized continued attention to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
FST will continue coordinating with GE on current and future production needs for the turboshaft engine program and related applications.
