India is an important market for Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) and is one of the strategic growth regions for the Lead Center Damper & Steering. That’s why some of the Lead Center‘s employees held various TechDays for customers in Aurangabad, Bangalore, Basma, Chennai, Delhi and Pune. The teams from Freudenberg-NOK Pvt. Ltd. (FNI) and NOK-Freudenberg provided on-site support.
“Roads in India are often much dustier than what we are used to in North America or Europe. So our Indian customers have put greater demands on our seals from that standpoint. Understanding these regional differences and responding to the accompanying needs of our customers are essential for business success. That makes personal meetings on site so important,” said Carlos Arnau Calduc, Vice President, Lead Center Damper and Steering, who supported the team during the TechDays.
The presentations also focused on the integration of plastics and the potential for using low-friction materials in the recreation sector. Customers’ interest in the TechDays was considerable. Many of the decision-makers did not miss the opportunity for person-to-person discussions.
