Facts about … Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in Switzerland

  1. A total of 36 people work at the Zürich Service Center. They come from Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Austria, Afghanistan and Ukraine. They complement each other well.
  2. The three business managers all hold Swiss citizenship yet their roots are partly in Greece and Germany.

  4. The Zürich Service Center was founded in 1977. Its customers are in Switzerland and Liechtenstein and come from many different industries: clocks and watches, microtechnology, valves and pumps, machine-building and solar power, along with manufacturers of electric tools, appliances and construction machinery.
  5. The hallmarks of the service center are highly precise sealing elements, O-rings, composite parts and diaphragms in miniature. To provide a full range and serve as a systems supplier, the center also purchases commercial products. At times, a workshop for people with health disabilities takes over the consolidation of parts into assemblies
  6. Experts from Klüber Lubrication are located next-door to the center on the sixth floor of their office building in the Oerlikon district of Zürich.
