April 4, 2025 Freudenberg Sealing Technologies updates donation guidelines
In January 2025, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) revised its donation guidelines and reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility: The updated guidelines emphasize the importance of coordinating donations in a targeted manner in order for them to effect change.
Supporting selected projects through donations is a hallmark of good corporate citizenship. By supporting meaningful projects, FST can address pressing social issues, promote community development and enhance the company’s reputation. This commitment not only benefits the recipients, but also has a positive impact on society as a whole, reflecting FST’s values and commitment to making a difference.
In accordance with the Freudenberg Group’s guidelines, donations to certain recipients, such as religious, military or political organizations, sports clubs and sponsoring with a commercial purpose in connection with conferences, sporting events, concerts or similar events are not permitted.
All donations must be sent to Sabrina Luckart, Director of Compliance, using Microsoft Forms, which can be accessed via this link: FST Donation Reporting Form. The updated guidelines also introduce a standard form for the approval of donations, highlighting the existing thresholds:
- Donations of up to € 2,000 require the approval of the responsible Division CEO and the Division CFO.
- Donations of up to €5,000 require the approval of the FST CFO.
- Donations in excess of 5,000 euros require the approval of the Freudenberg SE Board of Management.
These measures are intended to ensure that FST’s social efforts are in line with the company’s values and strategic objectives.
