Among other components, the facility manufactures sealing products for the auto industry. A&nbsp;number of local officials took part in the ceremony: Parets del Vall\u00e8s Mayor Francesc \u00adJuzgado, Deputy Mayor Casandra Garcia, Second Deputy Mayor Frances de la Torre, and City Planning Commissioner Rosa Mart\u00ed. Claus \u00adM\u00f6hlenkamp, Chief Executive Officer of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST), and Jaume Can\u00e9, Freudenberg\u2019s Managing \u00adDirector for Spain, took part in the groundbreaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new facility will be a&nbsp;robot-supported factory covering 6,500 square meters (70,000 square feet) that will run on renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. The facility, which is replacing the old plant, is due to be up and running in 2023.
