He loves competition and does all he can to bring out his best on the track \u2013 but he is not a picture of grim determination. He is respectful in dealing with others, considerate and modest. His son Th\u00e9o describes him as an oasis of peace. Like the elder Sickler, he works at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in Langres. His training partner and one of his fans, Th\u00e9o pitched this article as a surprise for his dad. (Christian Sickler had not been informed about it). The Sicklers often team up to compete at \u201cBike and Run\u201d races, alternately switching between the two modes of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christian Sickler is not just a big name on the running scene and has not only been successful in 10 and 21.1 kilometer races. He has also been in the forefront of longer-distance events, even internationally.
