Yet electric propulsion still has technical weaknesses, such as a propensity for bearing damage due to electroerosion. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) took on the problem and solved it with the eCON. He did pioneering work and, with a small team, developed a special testing method to demonstrate the eCON\u2019s capabilities. As recognition for his commitment, Morgenstern was given the chance to represent FST virtually at the renowned Vienna Motor Symposium and introduce the eCON as a convincing solution to the problem of electroerosion. It is an example of what FST is all about: placing trust in the company\u2019s young talent and nurturing these employees as much as possible. Young staff get the opportunity to lead projects and develop products \u2013 which increases their motivation and their visibility within the company. It is also important to FST that new and long-time employees work hand-in-hand on the projects.
