April 4, 2025. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Updates Donation Guidelines
In January 2025, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) announced an update to its company guidelines on donations, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility as a corporate citizen. The updated guidelines emphasize the importance of coordinating donations to ensure they are not overly excessive.
Supporting selected projects with donations is a hallmark of a good corporate citizen. By contributing to meaningful causes, FST can address pressing social issues, foster community development, and enhance its company reputation. These efforts not only benefit the recipients but also create a positive impact on society as a whole, reflecting the company’s values and commitment to making a difference.
In accordance with the guidelines set out by the Freudenberg Group, donations to certain recipients such as religious or political organizations, sports organizations or associations or organizations involved in armaments and military as well as sponsorship with a business purpose in connection with conferences, sporting events, concerts or similar events are not allowed.
All donations must be reported to the Sabrina Luckart, Director of Compliance using Microsoft Forms, accessible via this link: FST Donation Reporting Form. The updated guidelines also introduce a standard donations approval form highlighting the existing thresholds:
- Donations up to €2,000 require approval from the Division CEO and CFO.
- Donations up to €5,000 require approval from the FST CFO.
- Donations exceeding €5,000 require approval from the Freudenberg SE Board of Management.
These measures are designed to maintain accountability and ensure that FST’s social efforts are aligned with its corporate values and strategic objectives.
