Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) was honored with the Performance + Platinum Supplier award at Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Annual Supplier Forum. Out of hundreds of suppliers, the award was given to FST, highlighting the company’s exceptional performance and underscoring FST’s commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.
Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC), a leading jet engine manufacturer based in Quebec, Canada, is part of Raytheon (RTX), FST’s largest aerospace customer. FST has supplied PWC from Tillsonburg, Ontario, since the 1960s and Santa Ana, California, since the early 2000s. The Performance + Platinum award is given to suppliers who maintain 100% on-time delivery, zero quality escapes, lean/health assessment, relationship management, and cost efficiency for a minimum of 12 months. This is Santa Ana’s second consecutive Platinum award. The Tillsonburg site is performing at the Platinum level and is working towards Platinum status by the end of the year.
FST and PWC collaborated to create a video that kicked off the event, illustrating how a successful supplier operates. The video production involved members from FST and PWC and was created by coordinating multiple departments, including sales, marketing and corporate communications. It highlighted the excellent performance of FST’s sites and received positive feedback and applause from over 600 attendees.

Matt Chapman, President of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, stated, “The exceptional performance of the sites in Tillsonburg and Santa Ana has been instrumental in achieving the Performance + Platinum Supplier award from Pratt & Whitney Canada. These locations have consistently demonstrated excellence in operations, quality, and customer satisfaction, strengthening the partnership with PWC and opening doors for future business opportunities.”

This award leverages PWC’s relationship and opens doors to business opportunities within the RTX group of companies, including Pratt & Whitney US, Collins Aerospace, and Raytheon. The recognition of the performance and the success of the video presentation will drive additional opportunities based on the outstanding performance of both sites.
Chapman added, “The dedication and hard work of the teams at both sites are truly remarkable and have set a high standard for the industry. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance.”
