FST’s Tillsonburg site hosted an Easter egg hunt and seed planting event, promoting community and healthy lifestyles among employees and their families.
Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) celebrated health and wellness with an Easter egg hunt and seed planting event at its Tillsonburg site this past weekend. The event united employees and their families, fostering community and promoting healthy lifestyles.
The grounds were filled with laughter and excitement as children searched for brightly colored eggs. Following the egg hunt, families were given all the necessary items to start a planting activity. Children and adults selected various vegetable seeds to get a head start on the planting season in Ontario, Canada.
John Vettor, Director, Competence Center in Tillsonburg, emphasized the importance of such events in building a supportive workplace culture. “Company events like these aren’t just about the fun; they’re about weaving together the fabric of a supportive workplace culture. They encourage camaraderie, promote healthy lifestyles, mental health and reinforce the values of connection,” said Vettor.
Chris Rolfe, Growtth Manager, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the broader impact of the event. “Events like these foster employees’ sense of belonging and well-being. They provide an opportunity for everyone to connect outside of work and contribute to a healthier, more engaged workforce,” said Rolfe.
The Easter egg hunt and seed planting event at Tillsonburg highlighted FST’s commitment to promoting health and wellness among its employees and their families. By encouraging participation in such activities, FST reinforces its values of connection and community.
